Buying at auction? Ask the agent to send a copy of the Contract and Vendors Statement to us to check first. If you are buying residential real estate, but not within 3 days of an auction then you have a 3 day cooling off period during which you can withdraw for any reason. Bring the Contracts to us during this time so that we can make sure that there are no hidden traps.

Selling? You cannot sell real estate in Victoria without a Vendors Statement. We can prepare Vendors Statements at short notice, at the same time ensuring that all legislative requirements are met so that binding Contracts can be executed.

You also need to consider whether buying or selling real estate will impact upon your Will.
